As The 2011 Christmas Show runs into its final weeks, our 2012 Season takes on even greater significance — not only due to our exciting and diverse Celebrity Concert schedule and three brand-new AMT Original Shows, but because 2012 represents 15 years of providing world-class 
entertainment to Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
It has been both a gratifying and humbling experience to realize the over-whelming support of our valued patrons through the years. Simply put, we wouldn’t exist without you. This reality is what drives us to consistently ask for your comments and suggestions, and encourages open communication to help us offer the types of entertainment you most desire.
I realize you have many entertainment options and perhaps a shrinking budget in tough economic times. That’s why all of us here at AMT sincerely appreciate that so many of you have chosen to spend your valued time and hard-earned dollars on many of the over-300 shows we presented this year.

AMT’s Artistic Director, Andrea McCormick, had the opportunity to chat recently with Kathleen Daminger, Staff Writer with the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era about the upcoming opening of the all-new 2011 Christmas Show, “Winter Wonderland.”
Andrea shared with Kathleen that “the annual Christmas Show at
American Music Theatre combines a theatrical sensibility with time-honored holiday music. But that doesn’t mean each year’s show is the same. Would you and your group like to entertain guests in our beautiful lobby prior to one of our 2011 Christmas Shows? We’re extending an opportunity to church choirs, school choral groups, hand bell choirs, neighborhood singers, barbershop quartets, and all other singing groups to perform Christmas carols prior to a show in November and December. Groups of any age and size are welcome to participate.
To take part, groups should have well rehearsed carols lasting a total performance time of 30 minutes. Space will be provided in the lobby for your group, and you would have the opportunity to carol a cappella as guests are arriving for the show.
In addition, if you have a group of ten or more and would like to stay and enjoy The 2011 Christmas Show, we have TWO special pricing packages available for your group:
Package A would include:
* Performance — 30 minutes to carol in our lobby prior to show
* Discounted tickets to The 2011 Christmas Show for a group of ten or more
* Discounted price — $25 Adults; $15 Children/Students
Package B would include:
* Performance — 30 minutes to carol in our lobby prior to show
