American Music Theatre (Lancaster, PA,) a 1,600-seat celebrity concert venue that produces Original Productions throughout the year, is currently accepting digital submissions and will be holding LIVE Regional Auditions on March 20 and March 27, 2023 for their 2023 Christmas Show: The First Noel.

Digital Submissions

SEEKING: Singers, Dancers, Singer/Dancers, and Musicians
Performers of all ethnicities and races are encouraged to audition and submit

— Singers: Energetic and versatile, with a star quality; ability to sing a variety of styles: pop/rock, country, musical theater, with an authentic sound. Other specialty vocals welcome. Submit contrasting styles – ballad and up tempo.  Please slate in with a brief introduction of yourself.  See below for details on a LIVE Audition option.

— Dancers: Versatile, athletic, proficient in swing, jazz, tap, musical theater, and ballet. Partnering experience preferred; Pointe Technique and acrobatics a plus.  Submit contrasting styles.  Please slate in with a brief introduction of yourself.  See below for details on a LIVE Audition option.

— Singer/Dancers: See above requirements and submit both vocal and dance reels.  See below for details on a LIVE Audition option.

— Musicians: Must have high performance energy level and be comfortable being featured as a performer.  Requirements include, but are not limited to: proficient in wide variety of musical styles including big band, musical theater, jazz, swing, classical, pop, rock, etc.  Singing a plus but not necessary.

SINGERS

Energetic and versatile, with a star quality; ability to sing a variety of styles: pop/rock, country, musical theater, with an authentic sound. Other specialty vocals welcome. Prepare 16 bars per song of contrasting styles – ballad and up tempo – that demonstrate your various vocal range and styles.  Please bring sheet music and Audition Book.  Accompanist will be provided.

DANCERS

Versatile, athletic, proficient in swing, jazz, tap, musical theater, and ballet. Partnering experience preferred; Pointe Technique and acrobatics a plus.  Bring jazz sneakers/shoes, tap, and character heels along with ballet and pointe shoes.  Wear form fitting attire.  Will be taught combinations.
