The Beach Boys, America’s first pop band to reach the 50-year milestone, have recorded and performed the music that has become the world’s favorite soundtrack to summer. Songs like “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Kokomo,” “When I Grow Up,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me Rhonda,” and “God Only Knows” helped to solidify The Beach Boys as one of America’s preeminent bands of the 1960s.

Home Free was crowned Season 4 Champions of NBC’s The Sing-Off, and the 5-man band has since become known for their show-stopping performances that mix their signature no-instrument, all-vocal music with their quick-witted humor.

Tyler Farr

Country singer/songwriter Tyler Farr had an early exposure to country music. A classically trained opera singer, Farr’s affinity for hard country and honky-tonk took him in a different direction. Currently, Tyler Farr is the only solo male country artist in the last ten years to have his first two studio albums debut in the Top 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, spawning the hits “Redneck Crazy” and “Whiskey in My Water.” Farr quickly followed up with his first ever #1 smash, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.”

Switchfoot & Relient K – Looking for America Tour Part II

Starting out in the contemporary Christian music scene, Switchfoot got their start in 1996 over a mutual love of surfing and a passion for rock music. With time, Switchfoot eventually dabbled in mainstream music and easily merged both sacred and secular rock sounds. “Dare You to Move,” “Meant to Live,” “Live it Well,” and “Float” are just four of the hit songs from this Grammy nominated group. Christian punk-pop artists Relient K have been making records since 1997. This Grammy nominated band has released six full-length albums, five EPs and a Christmas record. In addition to their hits “Be My Escape” and “Deathbed,” Relient K’s frontman, Matt Thiessen, has co-written Kelly Clarkson’s “Long Shot” and the award-winning “When Can I See You Again” from the animated film Wreck-It Ralph.

With his laid-back vocal delivery and acoustic songwriting, Amos Lee draws inspiration from soul music, ’70s folk, and contemporary jazz. With the release of his self-titled debut album in 2004, the Philadelphia-born former schoolteacher immediately earned the attention of discerning music fans and fellow artists alike for his adult alternative, indie/rock style. In 2011, his album Mission Bell debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Currently, Lee is touring in support of his recent album Spirit.

Bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs struck his first chords on a mandolin over 50 years ago. This 14-time Grammy Award winning singer and multi-instrumentalist is a Grand Ole Opry member, CMA and ACM Award winner, and has 11 #1 songs to his credit, including “Heartbroke,” “Highway 40 Blues,” “Honey, Open That Door,” and “Country Boy” among them. Best known for his work as a keyboardist with his former group, The Range, Bruce Hornsby is also a talented singer and songwriter, and has earned three Grammy Awards. “The Way It Was,” “Mandolin Rain,” “Look Out Any Window,” and “Every Little Kiss” are just a few of his very recognizable hits. Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Hornsby collaborated on a studio album several years ago titled Ricky Skaggs & Bruce Hornsby which features re-workings of Hornsby originals as bluegrass tunes, as well as a number of traditional songs and a Skaggs original composition.

It’s November 1, which means that our newest Original Show, The 2016 Christmas Show: Winter Wonderland, opens today! Our exceptional Singers, Dancers, and Orchestra have been in rehearsal for weeks, and our creative, design, lighting, construction, and wardrobe teams all worked very hard to help breathe life into this year’s show.

In addition, the theatre itself has turned into a Winter Wonderland with festive decorations, beautiful lights, gorgeous trees, and a well stocked Gift Shop with holiday surprises for everyone on your list (and maybe something special just for you!)

All the rehearsing and many hours of work will pay off this afternoon when the curtain rises, and audiences get their first look at this brand new show, featuring many of your favorite sacred and secular holiday songs.

The 2016 Christmas Show runs through December 30. Seats are still available for morning, afternoon, and evening performances, but are going quickly.
