American Music Theatre (Lancaster, PA), a 1,600-seat celebrity concert venue that produces Original Christmas Productions, is currently accepting digital submissions for Immediate Replacement of Male Dancer/Singer Swing for their 2023 Christmas Show, The First Noel.

REQUIREMENTS:

Singing: Energetic and versatile, with star quality; ability to sing a variety of styles, pop/rock, country, musical theater with an authentic sound; other specialty vocals welcome; submit contrasting styles – ballad and up tempo.

Dancing: Versatile, athletic, proficient in swing, jazz, tap, musical theater, and ballet. Partnering experience preferred, Pointe Technique and acrobatics a plus. Submit contrasting styles.

We’re hiring for skilled sewers to work with our wardrobe department on our Christmas Show costumes.  Candidates with strong sewing skills in construction, alterations, sewing patterns, and machine skills.

Candidates should be available to work flexible hours and will be assigned projects to work on sewing at home.

Duties & Requirements:

• Sewing by machine and by hand
• Ability to work on sewing machines and sergers
• Fast paced worker
• Skills in alterations and repairs ranging from men’s suits to gowns to every-day and formal attire for both adults and youth/teens

• Call center customer service skills preferred
• Point of Sale system or ticketing experience
• Likes to work on phone and face-to-face sales
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate in a professional and mature manner
• MUST be available to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, and weekends
• We will provide training on our ticketing system
• 1-2 yrs. related experience preferred, but we will provide training
• Available to work September – December
• Flexible schedule 15-25/hrs. a week. 4-8 hour shifts depending on availability
• $12.00 and hour
