Calling all fans of Clare Bowen and Charles Esten, stars of the hit TV show Nashville. AMT is offering three lucky fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to their 8pm concert on Saturday, October 15, along with a Meet & Greet with both Clare and Charles!

In the September-October issue of ABA’s Destinations magazine, a special section — the “Best of the Best Editor’s Pick” — showcases the best of the best across eight different categories of travel suppliers: hotel/lodging, restaurant/dining, shopping venue, theater, museum, casino/gaming, attraction, and events.

Our Groups department, House staff, and everyone else within AMT work hard to give our guests the best experience possible, and we’re honored to be recognized for doing just that.

American Music Theatre has been a member of ABA for many years. ABA serves an industry that provides more than 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service, and shuttles. Membership in ABA includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism-related organizations (like AMT,) and products and service suppliers.

We thank the American Bus Association for this recognition, and look forward to hosting many more guests who visit AMT through their efforts. We’ll work hard to repeat the honor again next year!

Little River Band & Firefall
Friday, January 20, 2017 at 8pm

Little River Band is considered to be one of Australia’s most significant bands. Their impressive songwriting skills, powerful vocals, and masterful guitar harmonies immediately helped them claim their place as one of the great vocal bands of the 70s and 80s. Their chart success included “Help Is on Its Way,” “Take It Easy on Me,” “Reminiscing,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Lady,” “Cool Change,” and “The Night Owls.” Firefall has enjoyed a career that spans more than 40 years. Their commercial success includes three Gold albums, two Platinum albums, and 11 chart-topping singles. The band’s biggest hit, “You Are the Woman,” has been played on commercial radio more than 7 million times, and has also appeared in many movies and TV shows.

The popular singing duo of the 1970’s and early 80’s focused on mid tempo pop and ballads with Karen Carpenter’s unique and expressive alto voice on lead vocals. Background vocals by Karen and Richard Carpenter created densely layered harmonies, an integral part of their signature sound. In this heartfelt tribute show, Michelle Whited performs a stunning presentation of reproducing Karen’s unique voice and features Carpenters hits like “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Top of the World,” “Close to You,” and “Rainy Days and Mondays.”

Three Dog Night

Legendary music icons, Three Dog Night, now in its fourth decade, claims some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. In the years 1969 through 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night. The Grammy-nominated band includes Danny Hutton (founder/lead vocalist,) Michael Allsup (guitar,) Paul Kingery (bass/vocals,) Pat Bautz (drums,) Eddie Reasoner (keyboards,) and David Morgan (vocalist.) Songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala,” “One,” “Easy to Be Hard,” and “An Old Fashioned Love Song,” serve to heighten our emotions and crystallize Three Dog Night’s continued popularity.

The Bird Dogs bring a genuine and youthful Everly Brothers experience to the stage. The Zmed brothers, Zachary and Dylan, celebrate the genetic intimacy so ever present in the harmonies created by Don and Phil Everly. When the guitar became electric, the Everly Brothers bridged the gap between country and rock ‘n roll with countless hits and classics. The Everly Brothers inspired bands like The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Kinks, Buddy Holly, and many groups that utilize the blend of two part harmony.

John Denver Musical Tribute Starring Ted Vigil

Ted Vigil is a singer, songwriter, and John Denver tribute artist. Vigil has performed with John Denver’s lead guitarist, and has even played for Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Colorado. With the uncanny resemblance and sound of the late John Denver, Ted Vigil performs many of Denver’s hits, including “Rocky Mountain High,” “Annie’s Song,” “Sunshine on My Shoulder,” and “Thank God I’m a Country Boy.”

One of America’s most popular dance bands in the years just before World War II, The Glenn Miller Orchestra remains as popular today as it did back then.
