AMT Concerts has teamed up with Tellus360 and iHeartRadio to offer local bands a chance to compete in a Battle of the Bands Contest, ultimately leading to an exciting opportunity to perform live on stage during the ROCK AT THE PARK FESTIVAL at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Saturday, July 21. The contest, meant to showcase the incredible musical talent in the region, is part of the event’s goal to connect more closely with the Central Pennsylvania area.

Think your band has what it takes to beat out the competition? Here are the particulars:
• Any band can submit an entry video
• Entries must be original songs in which they hold the rights
• The videos must be of the act performing the song
• Contest registration is open now through June 3
• Three finalists will be selected by iHeartRadio to perform live at Tellus360 on June 28
• The winner from that event will perform at Rock At The Park Festival on July 21
• For contest rules and regulations, and to enter your band, click here.

After the three finalist bands perform, judges will select the winner live at Tellus360 on June 28. The lucky act will get to perform on the same stage as hit artists, and in front of thousands of attendees.

“Rock At The Park is an exciting opportunity for us to offer a day of music featuring national artists and local bands who’ve made it big, as well as some up and coming acts. It will be a fun day for all to enjoy the music and festivities, and we couldn’t be happier to partner with the great folks at Clipper Magazine Stadium, Tellus360, and iHeartRadio,” said Brandon Martin, AMT Concerts Director of Production.

iHeartRadio’s General Sales Manager, Ron Rhoads, said, “Fuel is a local band who made it to stardom, and all of the members of Gentleman East had hit songs during their time, either with The Badlees or Breaking Benjamin, so it’s a fun thing to find out who’s next to break out.”

Tellus360’s Music Venue Manager, Shannon McNally, added, “We appreciate the chance to work with another live music venue and incredible media partner. Together we’re able to recognize and support outstanding local artists.”

Rock At The Park is an all-ages event featuring music sets by Fuel, Eve 6, Sister Hazel, Long Beach Dub Allstars, and Fastball, along with regional favorites The Jellybricks and Gentleman East. Tickets are $45 in advance ($55 day of show) with Totally Sweet Suite Level and Rockin’ Right Field Tent add-ons available. For tickets and general information, click here.
