As The Beach Boys mark more than a half century of making music, the group continues to ride the crest of a wave unequalled in America’s musical history. The Beach Boys, who have become synonymous with the California lifestyle and an American icon, are bringing their “Sixty Years of the Sounds of Summer” tour to fans around the world. Since the band’s co-founder, lead-singer and chief lyricist Mike Love penned the lyrics to The Beach Boys’ first hit, “Surfin'” (1961), dozens of the band’s chart toppers have become eternal anthems of American youth: “Surfin’ USA,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music,” and “Kokomo.” The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers where also honored at the 2001 Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than five decades of touring under their belts, The Beach Boys have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history. Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys, Capitol/EMI’s 30-track collection of the band’s biggest hits, has achieved triple platinum success with sales of more than three million copies in the U.S. since its release. The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love, who, along with longtime member Bruce Johnston, musical director Scott Totten, Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, and Randy Leago continue the legacy of the iconic band. This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, or David Marks.

It all began in 1975 when Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell met in Sydney, Australia. The trademark sound of Hitchcock’s soaring tenor voice and Russell’s simple but majestic compositions created a unique sound that would be forever known as Air Supply. The heavily orchestrated, sweet ballads of the British-Australian duo became a staple of early ’80s radio, scoring a string of seven straight Top Five singles. “Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “The One That You Love,” “Making Love Out of Nothing at All,” “Every Woman in the World,” “Even the Nights are Better,” and “Just as I Am” … with a string of hits like this, Air Supply wins the award for most prolific masters of the love song genre for more than 45 years.

Mac Powell

As a sophomore in high school, Mac Powell co-found the Christian rock band Third Day. Throughout their nearly three-decade career, the band sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, one American Music Award, and 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since Third Day’s farewell tour in 2018 Mac released a country album Back Again under the banner Mac Powell & The Family Reunion and in 2021 he released his debut solo Christian album New Creation which landed at #1 on the Top Christian & Gospel album chart. His first solo Christian single, “River of Life,” is Top 10 and climbing.

A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, Gospel, and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Whether touring as a “Duo” or with his “Acoustic Group” or his “Large Band,” Lovett’s live performances show not only the breadth of this Texas legend’s deep talents, but also the diversity of his influences, making him one of the most compelling and captivating musicians in popular music. Since his self-titled debut in 1986, Lyle Lovett has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and iconic performers. Among his many accolades, besides the four Grammy Awards, he was given the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award and was named Texas State Musician. His works, rich and eclectic, are some of the most beloved of any artist working today.

A crossover jazz icon, saxophonist Kenny G has enjoyed phenomenal success across the pop, jazz, and R&B charts for over three decades. Kenny G is known for his lyrical and emotive style, a sound that has garnered a loyal fan base and made him one of the biggest selling instrumentalists of all-time. He initially broke through with 1986’s Duotones, which reached the top 10 on the pop and jazz charts and spawned the hit single “Songbird.” He gained yet wider attention with 1992’s Breathless, which reached #2 on the Billboard 200, topped the jazz charts, and won the Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition for “Forever in Love.” Kenny G has more than ten #1 Billboard Jazz Albums.
