The Spinners | Darlene Love

One of the greatest soul groups of the early 1970’s, The Spinners are defined by their sophisticated up-tempo R&B and precision choreography. With over 60 million records sold in their illustrious career, the Spinners have received six Grammy nominations and racked up an unbelievable 18 Solid Gold Top 40 hits. Their numerous Top 10’s include “Then Came You,” “Working My Way Back to You/Forgive Me, Girl,” “Cupid,” “The Rubberband Man,” “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love,” “I’ll Be Around,” and “It’s a Shame.”

Since the early 60’s, as part of Phil Spector’s wall of sound hit factory, Darlene Love has done it all — from music, to film, to TV, to Broadway. In the early years, Darlene performed background vocals as lead singer for The Blossoms behind The Righteous Brothers, Dionne Warwick, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. Her Billboard hits include “He’s a Rebel,” “The Boy I’m Gonna Marry,” “Wait ‘Til My Bobby Gets Home,” and “He’s Sure the Boy I Love.”

From their first hit in 1961, “The Way You Look Tonight,” through current hits of today, the Lettermen sound is undeniable. The current Lettermen consist of Rob Gulack, Donovan Tea, and Bobby Poynton. Whether singing a cappella or backed by an entire symphony orchestra, the Lettermen theme still remains the love song. Their smooth vocals and gorgeous harmonies can be heard in hits like “Moments to Remember,” “Goin’ Out of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Turn Around, Look at Me,” “Hurts So Bad,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”

Always… Patsy Cline is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with Houston fan Louise Seger who befriended the star in 1961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. The musical play, complete with down home country humor, true emotion, and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams,” and “Walking After Midnight” — 27 songs in all.

One Night of Queen

In 2000, Gary Mullen won ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes Live Grand Final, with the largest number of votes ever received in the show’s history. Following a solo tour, Gary formed a band, The Works, to pay tribute to rock legends Queen. Since May 2002, Gary Mullen and the Works have performed throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand to sell-out audiences. One Night of Queen is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. This show will ROCK you!

Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone | The Buckinghams

At the age of 15, Peter Noone achieved international fame as “Herman,” lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits. Universally regarded as one of Rock & Roll’s finest and most versatile entertainers, Noone’s classic hits include “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “There’s a Kind of Hush,” and “Listen People.” Ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over fifty-two million recordings. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold.

For the past two and a half decades, The Buckinghams have toured the nation with their signature pop and rock chart hits from the 60’s and 70’s. Just a few of their Billboard Top 40 hits include “Kind of a Drag,” “Don’t You Care,” “Susan,” and “Hey Baby (They’re Playing Our Song).”

Ricky Nelson Remembered is a unique multi-media entertainment event featuring the live music of Ricky Nelson’s hit songs, including “Hello Mary Lou,” “Travelin’ Man,” and “Garden Party,” performed by Ricky’s twin sons Matthew and Gunnar. Ricky Nelson emerged from his family’s popular TV series, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, to establish himself as an important rock artist of the 50s and 60s. Ricky Nelson Remembered includes big screen video footage of the Nelson family with interviews from celebrities influenced by Ricky Nelson, and celebrates the life of America’s original “Teen Idol.”

For the last 32 years, The Peking Acrobats have redefined audience perceptions of Chinese acrobatics. They push the limits of human ability, defying gravity with amazing displays of contortion, flexibility, and control. Shawn Barker is considered the pre-eminent Johnny Cash tribute artist as well as an accomplished musician and singer/songwriter.
