When the guitar became electric, the Everly Brothers bridged the gap between country and rock ‘n roll with countless hits and classics. The Everly Brothers inspired bands like The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Kinks, Buddy Holly, and many groups that utilize the blend of two part harmony.

From their first hit in 1961, “The Way You Look Tonight,” through current hits of today, the Lettermen sound is undeniable. The current Lettermen consist of Tony Butala, Donovan Tea, and Bobby Poynton. Whether singing a cappella or backed by an entire symphony orchestra, the Lettermen theme still remains the love song. Their smooth vocals and gorgeous harmonies can be heard in hits like “Moments to Remember,” “Goin’ Out of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Turn Around, Look at Me,” “Hurts So Bad,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”

They defy gravity with amazing displays of contortion, flexibility, and control, and push the envelope of human possibility with astonishing juggling dexterity, incredible balancing feats, tremendous skill and unbelievable ability. Due to a contractual requirement, the REPLAY AMERICA — The Ultimate 80’s concert at Clipper Magazine Stadium in downtown Lancaster will be moved indoors to AMT, located at 2425 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, and will take place on Sunday, July 30.
