Hits of the ’50s to Take Center Stage in February
’50s Dance Party: The Music of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens
Buddy Holly has been referred to as perhaps the most influential creative force in early rock & roll. The Big Bopper (born Jiles Perry Richardson) was a former DJ turned recording star. Ritchie Valens was a young, pioneering Latino rocker. Join us for the ’50s Dance Party when we celebrate the lives of these iconic musicians and feature their classic hits that have endured through the years … songs like “That’ll Be the Day,” “Chantilly Lace,” and “La Bamba.”
