Never Stop Chasing!

Experience the raw power of nature through the eyes of Dr. Reed Timmer, extreme meteorologist, scientist, and one of the world’s most renowned storm chasers. With a PhD in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, Reed has devoted his life to intercepting the planet’s most dangerous storms, collecting groundbreaking scientific data, and helping audiences better understand how severe weather is changing.

Over the past several decades, Reed has intercepted more than 1,000 tornadoes and 50 hurricanes, including EF5 tornadoes and Category 5 hurricanes. He is also the inventor of the Dominators—armored, tank-like storm-chasing vehicles equipped with advanced meteorological sensors, hydraulic anchoring spikes, drones, probes, balloons, and even model rockets. Since 2020, Reed has driven Dominator 3 directly into 10 tornadoes, more than any other person in history.

His unforgettable expeditions include recording 140 mph winds from inside a Nebraska tornado and launching a trackable sensor into a mile-wide EF4 tornado in Kansas. Carried as high as 39,000 feet and reaching speeds of 190 mph, the sensor captured unprecedented data throughout its 30-mile journey inside the vortex.

Currently chasing storms for the National Geographic Channel and RadarOmega, Reed also provides vital real-time reports through traditional and social media. Hear the incredible stories, witness breathtaking footage, and discover the science behind Earth’s most powerful storms during this heart-pumping live event.

For Reed Timmer, “Never Stop Chasing” is more than a motto—it is a way of life.
