The iconic Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is often cited as a catalyst for an entire movement in country rock and American roots music. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has earned multi-platinum and gold records along with Grammy, IBMA, CMA Awards and nominations thanks to a string of top ten hits such as “Fishin’ In The Dark,” “Mr. Bojangles,” and “An American Dream.” Their groundbreaking Will The Circle Be Unbroken album has been inducted into the U.S. Library of Congress as well as the Grammy Hall of Fame.
