Duke Ellington called his music “American Music” rather than jazz. Years after his passing, he remains one of the most influential figures in jazz, if not in all American music. As both a composer and a band leader, Ellington is best remembered for the over 3,000 songs that he composed during his lifetime, including titles such as “It Don’t Mean a Thing if It Ain’t Got That Swing,” “Sophisticated Lady,” “Mood Indigo,” “Take the A Train,” “In a Mellotone,” and “Satin Doll.” Formed in the late 1920s, the Duke Ellington Orchestra continues to travel worldwide, performing many of Ellington’s celebrated classics.

Gene Watson and The Bellamy Brothers

Tickets: $49
Members On Sale: Tuesday, April 11 at 9am
Public On Sale: Saturday, April 15 at 9am
One of the most masterful voices in country music today, Gene Watson still sings in the same key as 30 years ago and continues to prove why he is rightly referred to as “The Singer’s Singer.” He’s built a reputation for soulful ballads in the classic country tradition. Some of his many hits include “Love in the Hot Afternoon,” “Where Love Begins,” “Should I Come Home (Or Should I Go Crazy),” and “Nothing Sure Looked Good on You.” The Bellamy Brothers are currently celebrating 40 years in the music business. For Howard and David Bellamy, the road that started on the pop music charts in the 70’s took a winding turn into country music in the 80’s. Their patented blend of rock/country music has produced 14 #1 singles and included such notable classics as “Let Your Love Flow,” “Redneck Girl,” “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me),” “Sugar Daddy,” and “Lovers Live Longer.”
