George Jones Passes at Age 81

We are saddened to receive the news that country superstar George Jones passed away on Friday, April 26. In a career that lasted more than 50 years, “Possum” recorded more than 150 albums and became the champion and symbol of traditional country music.

George Jones had been scheduled to perform at AMT on Sunday, June 2; ticket holders will be contacted by our Box Office staff. We are grateful for the many concerts he performed here over the years, and will miss this country music icon.
