And The Groundhog Recommends …

Have you had enough of cold and snow? Do you wish the Groundhog would have kept his “six more weeks of winter” prediction to himself? Well, you might not have liked hearing those words, but our furry friend has a few hot March show recommendations that are sure to melt those winter-time blahs. Here are three he thinks you’ll like, with great seats still available …

The Folk Reunion featuring The Kingston
Trio and The Brothers Four with Special Guest Tom Paxton

First, on March 14, check out the Folk Reunion featuring The Kingston Trio and The Brothers Four with Special Guest Tom Paxton. We’re sure the banjos, mandolins, basses and incredible harmonies of these well-known names in folk music will warm you up and leave you wanting more.

On March 22, it’s the electrifying rhythms of STOMP.  Using matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and more, these talented performers use everyday objects in this inventive and invigorating show.  STOMP is an international percussion sensation, leaving audiences to exclaim “STOMP is captivating.  My heart thumped to every beat.”

Bring It On: The Musical

Then on March 27 and 28, Bring It On: The Musical will be in the house.  This musical comedy about friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness made its Broadway debut on August 1, 2012.  The production earned Tony nominations for Best Musical and Best Choreography, and The New York Times called it, “Impossible to resist!”

The Groundhog recommends lots of other great shows coming to our Central PA theatre this year.  Check them out by clicking here.
