Kansas with special guest Blue Oyster Cult

KANSAS, a “garage band” from Topeka, released their debut album in 1974 and became one of the most popular bands in the late 1970s.  KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the 70s and 80s, and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums with hits like “Carry On Wayward Son,” “Play the Game Tonight,” and “Dust in the Wind.”  Formed on a college campus by students and rock critics in the late 1960s, Blue Oyster Cult can count “(Don’t Fear) the Reaper,” “Burnin’ for You,” and “Dancing in the Ruins” among their hard rock/heavy metal hits.

American Music Theatre is proud to welcome all types of shows and concerts to our stage. Sometimes during the course of a performance, audience members will show their enthusiasm by standing and dancing, or may approach the stage, especially when encouraged by the performers to do so. Please know that AMT will make every effort to insure the safety of all guests, while presenting an enjoyable experience for everyone.
