Howdy Y’all!

I’m sitting in a Starbucks in Midtown StarbucksManhattan on my first day off since April 9. Being a Lancaster local with two jobs has proven to be busier than I had expected. This long weekend in New York City couldn’t have come at a better time, and I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to sit down with a coffee and a bagel and say hello to all of you readers!

This is the first time you all are hearing from me, so let’s see what I can tell you about myself in one paragraph. I’m a Southern boy from a very small town who loves animals, any and all types of music, the color orange, pizza, traveling, coffee, people watching, taking pictures, and perhaps most importantly, performing. I grew up listening to almost every artist featured in Country Classics in the back seat of an Oldsmobile Cutlass with t-tops and a gold pinstripe on the fenders. I moved to Lancaster in January after 5 seasons at Hersheypark where I played everything from a war veteran to a zombie rocker. So, here I am, singing country music every week and living my dream.

Country Classics has proven to be one of my favorite stage experiences of all time already and we aren’t even halfway through our run. This cast is full of amazing talent, great personalities, and extreme professionalism. We have a blast onstage and off. (We’ll get to the backstage antics at a later date, I hope.) To everyone who has seen the show so far, thanks so much for being so supportive and making us all feel like rock stars, or rather country stars, every night. To those who haven’t seen the show…what are you waiting for?! Come on out and enjoy our barn party and our country picnic! And don’t forget your boots.

My coffee is empty and all that’s left of this bagel are a few crumbs and half a pad of butter. That means it’s time for more city exploring. No worries though, because you’ll be hearing from me again soon! If you have any questions for myself or any of the other members of the Country Classics cast, band, or crew, leave them in the comments section below and I’ll see if I can’t get them answered for you.

We’ll see y’all next time!
