comedy shows 2018 - comedy lit up in lightsAMT’s 2018 schedule is star-studded – and side-splitting! Our comedy lineup will have you rolling with laughter, and in some cases, singing right along. Whether you’re looking for stand up routines or creative skits, we have a show for you. Check out some of the comedy shows coming to the AMT stage in 2018:

Bill Engvall

Pioneer of the popular term “here’s your sign”, Bill Engvall is bringing his down-home humor to our stage! The American Comedy Awards has named him the Best Male Standup, and with good reason! If you loved him in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, then make sure to mark your calendar for May 5.

“Weird Al” Yankovic

Best known for his parody songs, “Weird Al” has been topping the charts for decades. He’s stepping back from his typical large-scale productions to give a closer performance to his fans. After Mandatory Fun topped at #1 on the Billboard 200, he decided to give his 14 non-parody comedy albums some time in the spotlight. With his signature wit and comedic timing, this show is shaping up to be downright hilarious – check it out in March!

Steve Martin and Martin Short

Steve Martin and Martin Short reunite this April on the AMT stage! Their performance is a combination of what the two do best: skits, stand up, music, and just being themselves. These two legends of comedy will also set some time aside for frank conversations about show biz. Although the tour is titled, “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life”, we think this will certainly be a night to remember.

Tape Face

Sam Wills, or more infamously known as Tape Face, is a smashing comedy success from New Zealand with a one-of-a-kind routine. Using as much emphatic gesticulation as he can, Tape Face communicates with the universal language – humor. He may not have won during his time as a finalist on America’s Got Talent, but he’s certainly won our hearts. Come see Tape Face this February at AMT!

Jay Leno

Lovable talk show host, and children’s book author, Jay Leno is a multi-faceted man with years of comedic experience. In fact, after spending over twenty years as the host of The Tonight Show, Jay Leno is regarded as one of the greats. His monologues are legendary, and his dry sense of humor and pointed delivery make him undeniably funny. Come see Jay Leno in October at AMT!
