British recording engineer and producer-performer Alan Parsons has been labeled The Sonic Master of Progressive Rock. This 11-time Grammy nominee first garnered significant industry exposure via his work on the Beatles’ 1969 masterpiece, Abbey Road, but it was his contribution as engineer on Pink Floyd’s classic The Dark Side Of The Moon that really got him world attention. The Alan Parsons Project was created to showcase a collection of vocalists and session players, and produced a number of hits including “Games People Play,” “Time,” “Don’t Answer Me,” and “Eye in the Sky.”
