Performing at AMT
We seek high-energy, seasoned performers who will help us deliver the best live entertainment in a wide variety of styles. Contracts are extended on a per-show basis. The AMT
Christmas Show
Our annual Christmas show is a long-running tradition. It is an opportunity to work alongside professional performers and provides a fun-filled experience for all. We host thousands of approximately 100,000 audience members annually who return year after year for this well-known and beloved holiday show.
Rehearsals for the AMT Christmas Show are held in October and the show runs from November through the end of December.
Singers
We look for singers who are energetic and versatile who possess star quality. You must be able to sing a variety of styles including classical, pop/rock, country, and musical theatre with an authentic sound. Other specialty vocals are welcome. In your submission, we invite you to show us contrasting styles, ballad and up tempo.
Dancers
We seek out dancers who are versatile, athletic, proficient in swing, jazz, tap, musical theater, and ballet. Partnering experience is preferred and acrobatics are a plus. We like to see contrasting styles and appreciate submissions beginning with a brief introduction of yourself.
Musicians
We look for musicians with a high-performance energy level who are comfortable being featured performers. Musicians should exhibit proficiency in a wide variety of musical styles including big band, musical theatre, jazz, swing, classical, pop, rock, country and more. Singing is a plus, but not necessary.
Youth
We cast a number of performers ages 7-13. Your video submission should begin with your name, age and height. Please sing a brief Christmas song and show us your personality by telling us a joke! If you are an accomplished dancer, show us your dancing skills as well!
Teens
The Christmas Show cast also includes seasoned teen performers ages 13-17. Your experience should include high levels of dance in various styles such as tap, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, and ballet. Additional styles are welcomed, and gymnastics ability is also a plus. If you are an accomplished singer, please include a brief cut of a Christmas song.
